For Owners of ex Police Motorcycles
The 28th Classic Motorcycle Show took place on the weekend of 26th & 27th April 2008 and the Motorcycle Mechanics Show was on 18th & 19th October. Both shows were very similar. On both occasions were located in our usual location, the Meat Hall, just off the main hall, at the Staffordshire County Showground.
No prizes this time, but another good show and busy weekend. . Full story in the latest newsletter.
A smaller turnout from our group this time but still a good display. We were fortunate to have the new Moto Guzzi demonstrator bike from the importers and Tony Roach’s immaculate ex-Liverpool Triumph Speed Twin from 1964. Cheshire Police do put on a good, well organised display over the weekend at their new HQ, with plenty to see and do. In addition to the bikes above, we also had David's Honda Pan ST1100 (on its last showing before being sold), Alan’s LE Velo and Bills's rare Rickman Zundapp. Once again visitors took a nostalgia trip through our display archive of old photographs. More details in the latest Newsletter.
