Honda CB200

Honda produced the CB200 in the mid 1970’s based on the old CB175. It proved very popular with regional forces in the UK such as Hampshire, Kent, Surrey and Sussex. The perfect little machine for rural work, it was reliable and economical to run. It was also used for training new riders before they advanced onto the larger machines.
The CB200 shown on this page OKL71P has been restored to it’s police livery. It was registered to Kent Constabulary in July 1976 and was one of 142 CB200s’ on the fleet, replacing their ageing Velocettes LE's’. They were the first Japanese bikes to be used by the force.
