Kawasaki Z200
The Z200 was built by Kawasaki Heavy Industries in the 1970’s and just like the Honda CB200 of the same period, it proved very popular with rural British police forces, an ideal bike for local policing.
The machine shown in the pictures was originally owned by Kent County Constabulary and was part of a fleet on 94. They were replacements in 1981 for their aging Honda CB200s’ and were the last small motorcycle to be used by the force. In 1983, they were replaced with the arrival of Ford Fiesta vans.
